Running a drug and alcohol testing program means ordering tests, tracking results, keeping random selections on schedule, and having the right records ready when someone asks for them. Med-Stop gives your company the testing services and one web-based app to manage all of it, for DOT-regulated and non-DOT employees.
Order testing when you need it
Create a test request for pre-employment, random, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, return-to-duty, or follow-up testing, and send the employee to a collection site. Drug test results are reviewed by a Medical Review Officer (MRO) and appear with the test record. See Test requests and Tests and results.
Random testing without the spreadsheets
The Random Selection Service builds and maintains random pools from your employee list, makes computer-controlled selections, and shows each selection until it is tested. You see progress toward your selection targets instead of tracking them by hand. See Random testing.
Stay ahead of compliance
Compliance checks flag employees with missing or expiring items, and the Welcome dashboard shows alerts, open requests, and tests that need action. If your company employs CDL drivers, it runs its FMCSA Clearinghouse queries and reports itself or through a C/TPA it designates; Med-Stop is not a Clearinghouse C/TPA, but the test records in the app support your own reports. Records you can find
Employees, applicants, tests, documents, training, accidents, violations, and inspections are stored with the person they belong to. Reports and exports give you totals and lists for your own reviews or an auditor. See Employees and applicants and Reports.
Work from the office or on the road
The employer app runs in your web browser, and Med-Stop mobile apps are available for Android and iOS. Each contact sees only what their access allows. See Using the Med-Stop app.

What your company still does
Med-Stop runs the services, but your company remains the employer. You designate a Designated Employer Representative (DER), keep your employee list and employment dates current, act on results and random selections, and meet your own obligations under the DOT rules that apply to you.
