Only Med-Stop PDF documents that include an embedded Med-Stop IntegrIDy code can be verified. During verification, the system computes a secure cryptographic fingerprint of the uploaded file and compares it with the IntegrIDy value embedded in the document. If the values match, the file appears authentic and unaltered since its original issuance. Verification is performed entirely in memory — the file is not stored or retained. Please note that only original, digitally generated Med-Stop PDF files can be verified; scans, copies, faxed, or print-and-scan versions cannot be validated.
A successful integrity check confirms that the file’s digital content matches the original Med-Stop version. However, it is not absolute proof against every form of fraud, alteration, or document misuse. Always verify the document’s source, context, and accompanying information. If you have any concerns about its authenticity, please contact Med-Stop support.
