You can use the Med-Stop Random Service for random testing that your company requires under its own policy, separate from DOT rules. Non-DOT pools are never mixed with DOT pools, and DOT rules do not limit their settings.

What you can configure

• Target percentage: set by your company policy.
• Multiple pools: for example one per department or test type.
• Membership: automatic by employment status, or managed manually when only some employees are covered.
• Multiple selections and additional selections: decide whether the same member can be selected more than once in a period, and add selections above the target if your policy calls for it.

Steps

1. Make sure non-DOT random service is active in Random Service Setup.
2. Create a pool with Random > New Random Pool, choosing the test type and No for DOT status.
3. Set the target percentage, frequency, and membership options.
4. Review the members, then follow the selections as they are generated.
