Your company's DOT status tells Med-Stop which testing rules and features apply. Set it to match your workforce:

• DOT: all of your tested employees perform DOT-regulated, safety-sensitive functions.
• Non-DOT: your company is not regulated by any DOT agency. Testing follows your company policy and any applicable state law.
• Both: some employees are DOT-regulated and some are not.

Steps

1. Open Company > Information.
2. Select the DOT Status that matches your company.
3. For a DOT or mixed company, enter the DOT Number and select each agency under Regulated by DOT Agency.
4. Select Update and confirm the saved value.

Tips

• A DOT-regulated employer must have a Designated Employer Representative (DER).
