Employee compliance status
Last Updated: 09/24/2026

Every employee is checked against your company's compliance rules, which can cover DOT requirements and your own policies. The employee's Compliance screen shows each check and whether it is met.

Steps

  1. Open the employee and select Compliance. Out-of-compliance items are shown in red.
  2. Select a rule's information link to see the details of the check.
  3. Fix the underlying record, not the alert. For example, update the license or medical exam expiration date, add the missing document, record the pre-employment test, or complete the required training.
  4. Reopen the Compliance screen to confirm the item is now met.

Where else it shows

Out-of-compliance employees also appear in the Welcome screen statistics and in the Compliance column of the employee lists. See Where compliance alerts appear.

Tips

  • Act on red items promptly; an expired license or medical certificate can mean a driver may not be qualified to drive.
  • Do not deactivate a company rule just to clear an alert.
  • The Compliance screen is not shown for terminated or removed records.
