Two-factor authentication
Last Updated: 09/25/2026
Med-Stop uses two-factor authentication (2FA) to confirm your identity. After you enter your user name and password, you also enter a verification code.
How you get a code
- Email: a code sent to your verified email address.
- Text message: a code sent to your mobile phone.
- Authenticator app: a rotating code generated on your phone, even without an internet connection. See Two-factor authentication with a mobile app.
Enter the code
- Sign in with your user name and password.
- On the verification page, enter the code in the code field.
- Choose whether Med-Stop should remember this device, if that option is offered. Choose No on shared computers.
- Select Login. If the code has not arrived, select Resend Code.
Manage your verification methods
Keep your email address and mobile number current so you can sign in when a code is required. Your security settings are under My Info, in Med-Stop Security.
Tips
- Never share a verification code. Med-Stop staff will not ask you for it.
- If you no longer have access to any of your verification methods, contact support.
