Random pool has fewer than two members

Med-Stop generates random selections only for pools that average two or more members. If your pool drops below that, you may see an alert and no new selections are made until membership increases.
What to check
- Open Random > Random Pools and open the pool for the current year.
- Select Members and confirm that every covered employee is listed.
- If someone is missing, check the employee's DOT status, employment status, and the Random tab of the employee record.
If your company really has only one covered driver
A DOT-regulated owner-operator must be in a random pool with two or more covered employees (49 CFR 382.103(b)), which usually means joining a consortium. See Owner-operators and consortiums.
