Med-Stop provides its application to consortiums and third-party administrators (C/TPAs). A C/TPA uses the Med-Stop TPA app to manage the employers that belong to its consortium, order and follow tests for their employees, and run its consortium random testing program. Med-Stop itself is not a consortium or a C/TPA: the C/TPA runs its own program and remains responsible for the services it provides to its members.
What the TPA app lets a C/TPA do
- Manage member employers: add new employers, review active and terminated employers, and keep each employer's contacts, employees, documents, credit, and notes in one record.
- Collect required documents: file the agreements your members must sign; members see them under TPA Documents and you see what is on file.
- Run random testing: review random service status, random pools, and random selections across your members, and create test requests for selected employees.
- Order and track tests: create test requests and test records for member employees, request drug testing forms, and review test results.
- Manage your own company: company information, contacts and their access, company documents, and your Med-Stop C/TPA Agreement.
- Report: run reports and export data.

What each user sees depends on the access Med-Stop and your company give them. Every C/TPA contact has base access to the TPA app; company management (company information, contacts, company documents, data export) and extended management (all employer notes, assigning new employers, random service management) are separate permissions.
