You can turn on the Med-Stop Random Selection Service when you register your company, or at any time later from the Random menu. A company administrator with the right permission must do it.

Steps

1. Choose Random > Random Service Status and select Random Setup.
2. Set the random selection services your company will use to Yes: DOT and non-DOT, breath alcohol and urine drug. Only the options that fit your company's DOT status are shown.
3. Read the Med-Stop Random Selection Service Agreement and agree to it.
4. Set the default target percentage and any additional selections per period.
5. Choose whether to create pools automatically and the default selection frequency.
6. Choose the member settings and the selection start date, then select Finish.
7. Print and sign the agreement from Random > Random Service Agreement, and upload it or fax it as the page instructs.

What happens next

If you chose automatic pools, DOT pools are created with the DOT-specified target percentage. Selections begin at the start date. Check the new pools and their members before the first selections are due.
