When you open a record from a list, such as an employee, a test, or an accident, its details open in their own window or browser tab.

If the window does not open

Check that your browser is not blocking pop-up windows from Med-Stop pages. Add Med-Stop to your browser's allowed pop-ups list; your browser's help explains how.

Parts of a record window

• Window menu: at the top, moves between the sections of the record, such as general information, documents, and status.
• Title and print: the window title describes the record. Use the print option to print forms or reports for that record.
• Record details: the main area shows the record's information. Some sections show lists, and some records can be updated.
• Actions: buttons for actions on the record, and to close the window.

Save your changes

After changing information, select Update to save it. If you close the window without selecting Update, your changes are not saved.
