We are here for you. Get the most out of Med-Stop.
Most information in Med-Stop, such as employees, test requests, and tests, is shown in lists. From a list you find the records you need, select rows to act on them, and open a record to see its details.
Search and filter
- Type in Search For. Your text is matched against the list's most common fields; on the employee list, for example, a last name, driver's license number, or phone number.
- Narrow the list with the other filters, such as test type, reason, or a date range. Filters can be combined.
- Select Search, or press Enter.
- Select Reset to return the filters to their defaults.
On smaller screens the filters are hidden; open them with the filter button next to the list title.
Sort
Select a column heading to sort by that column. Select it again to reverse the order. The sorted column is highlighted and shows an arrow for the direction.
Page through results
The bar below the list shows how many records match. Use Show to choose how many rows appear on a page, and the First, Previous, page number, Next, and Last controls to move between pages. A page size that fits on your screen without scrolling is easiest to work with.
Select rows and open records
- Where rows can be selected, a check box appears at the left of each row. See Select rows on a list.
- Actions for selected rows, and exports such as Excel, appear with the list title.
- Select a row to open the record. Records open in their own window or tab; see Record windows.
Tips
- If the list shows no records, check the filters, especially date ranges, before assuming the record does not exist. See Find a record that is missing from a list.
- Some lists start with a default date period, such as recent tests only.
