Company settings change how Med-Stop handles records for your whole company. Review them during setup and when your processes change.

Steps

1. Open Company > Settings. Use Settings Category to show one group or all settings.
2. Company Setup:
   • Automatically Close Test Requests (default Yes): a test recorded in Med-Stop closes the matching open test request. Choose No to close requests yourself.
   • Automatically Close Random Selection (default Yes): the matching recorded test closes the open random selection. Choose No to manage selections manually.
   • Assign New Employees To Your Company During Testing: whether employees added at a test site are assigned to your company.
   • Company With Branches: turns on branches; see Turn on branches for your company.
3. Testing Setup: choose the Default Non-DOT Panel for Drug Testing.
4. Employees Options: define up to five custom employee information fields, each with a description and format. They appear on the employee's status page, for example for an emergency contact.
5. Select Update, then reopen the settings to confirm the saved values.

Tips

• Automatic closing does not replace reviewing results. Check open requests and selections that did not close.
• If saving returns an error, reopen the page to check whether the setting was saved before trying again.
