State reporting of DOT violations

Some states require employers to report DOT drug and alcohol violations, such as verified positive drug tests and refusals, by commercial drivers to a state agency. These state requirements are separate from, and in addition to, federal reporting to the FMCSA Clearinghouse.
When a test for a driver in one of these states needs a state report, Med-Stop shows an alert and lists the test under Abnormal Urine Drug and Alcohol Tests on the Welcome dashboard. For most states, the state form is available on the test's Documents tab. After you send it, use Record State Report on the test's Details tab to close the alert.
