Arkansas requires employers to report DOT violations by commercial drivers, including positive alcohol test results and refusals to test, to the Arkansas Commercial Driver Alcohol and Drug Testing Database. Arkansas law also requires employers to search this database before hiring commercial drivers. Check the state's current instructions before reporting.

Report to the state

1. Sign in to the Arkansas reporting portal: Arkansas Commercial Driver Alcohol and Drug Testing Database.
2. Enter the report for the driver.

Employers, Medical Review Officers, and service providers need a subscription account with the Information Network of Arkansas to use the online service. Employers that use a service provider must still register.

Record that the report was sent

1. On the Welcome dashboard, open Abnormal Urine Drug and Alcohol Tests and select the test record for the driver.
2. On the Details tab, select Record State Report.
3. In Reported to State Agency, select Yes.
4. Enter the date and time the report was sent.
5. Select Finish. The state reporting alert closes.
