Texas requires employers to report certain DOT drug and alcohol violations by commercial drivers to the state. Med-Stop shows a state reporting alert for the affected test until you record that the report was sent. Check the agency's current instructions before sending; state addresses and numbers can change.

Print the state report

1. On the Welcome dashboard, open Abnormal Urine Drug and Alcohol Tests and select the test record for the driver.
2. Open the Documents tab.
3. Open and print the Report of Positive Drug Test Result - Texas form and complete it.

Send the report

Sign the Report of Valid Positive Result on Drug Test under TRC 644.252 section of the form. Send it with the Urine Drug Case MRO Certified Results Form (the MRO result) to:

Record that the report was sent

1. On the Welcome dashboard, open Abnormal Urine Drug and Alcohol Tests and select the test record for the driver.
2. On the Details tab, select Record State Report.
3. In Reported to State Agency, select Yes.
4. Enter the date and time the report was sent.
5. Select Finish. The state reporting alert closes.
