Phone fields format and check US phone numbers for you, so you type digits only.

Steps

1. Select the phone field.
2. Type the area code, then the number, as digits only: no parentheses, spaces, or hyphens.
3. The number is formatted as a standard US phone number.
4. If an extension (Ext) field is shown, enter the extension there. It accepts up to 20 characters.

What happens next

Med-Stop checks the number when you save or move on, and shows an error if it is not valid.
