Employee Test Request

The Test Request in the Med-Stop system serves two primary purposes:

1) To schedule an employee test for a specific date, time, and location

2) To comply with DOT regulations (Part 382: Controlled Substances and Alcohol Use and Testing – Requirement for Notice) for DOT-regulated companies.

Creating a Test Request

When creating a Test Request, you can:

  • Specify the exact location where the test must be performed.
  • Validate the selected location’s availability for testing.
  • Fax the request details directly to the testing site to reduce time wasted by the employee.

Managing the Test Request

Each Test Request is saved in the Med-Stop system and allows you to:

  • Monitor the employee’s testing status.
  • Maintain a clear and complete test history.

Once the test is completed at a Med-Stop location:

  • You will be notified immediately.
  • The request status will be updated to reflect that the test has been performed.
  • You can access the test information directly from the Test Request Details window and link the request to the final test result.
