Two areas of the client application help you keep track of your own work during the day: Started Services and Completed Tests Today.
Started Services
You can put one test on hold to perform another test, or while you wait for supplemental information for the test you started first. For example, a donor who cannot yet provide a urine specimen can wait while you attend to another customer. For DOT tests, follow the shy bladder procedure for the waiting period, which lasts up to three hours (49 CFR 40.193(b)).
- Find the test in the Started Services list.
- Click it to resume. Only the doctor or collector who started a test can resume it.
This area should contain only recently started tests for customers who are still in the facility or returning the same day. It cannot contain tests older than one day: if such a test appears here, finish it or cancel it.
Completed Tests Today
This area lists all tests you completed today. Click a name to see brief information about the test. If the customer needs a copy of a receipt or forms, you can reprint them from here.
