Can an employee be selected more than once in a year?

Yes. DOT rules require that every employee in the pool has an equal chance of being selected each time selections are made (49 CFR 382.305(i)). Being selected or tested earlier in the year does not remove the employee from the pool, so some employees may be selected more than once while others are not selected at all.
Do not skip or remove an employee because they were tested recently; that would make the selection non-random.
