Your employer or testing program decides why a test is needed (for example pre-employment, random, or post-accident) and which service is required. The test request you received states the service and the collection site.
DOT rules in 49 CFR Part 40 allow urine testing and, under the newer oral fluid provisions, oral fluid testing. That does not mean every collection site or testing program can offer both. Follow the instructions in your request, and confirm any proposed change with the person responsible for your testing program before the collection.
