Internet connection

It is highly recommended to use Med-Stop over a broadband internet connection. Some pages are data-intensive and require large information to be transferred between your computer and Med-Stop servers.

Transferring the scanned documents over a slow internet connection can take a very long time and lead to connection time-outs.

Med-Stop service requires SSL Strong Encryption. Secure browsers employ a secure sockets layer (SSL) technology to communicate with servers.

Printing the reports

To view and print the reports you need to have the PDF viewer software installed on your computer. We recommend the Adobe Acrobat Reader - free software you can download from the Adobe web site -

Med-Stop System Client software

Some functions of Med-Stop service require the installation of Med-Stop System Client software. The installation can be downloaded from the Med-Stop server when logged in to Med-Stop.

The Med-Stop System client allows you direct printing of reports to the printer, scanning the documents, and one-click access to the Med-Stop web page.
