Training definitions describe the training your company uses. When you record an employee's training you can pick a definition and Med-Stop fills in the details. A mandatory definition also affects compliance.

Open the setup

Choose Company > Training Setup. Med-Stop includes several predefined training programs. Restore Default returns the list to the original configuration.

Create a training definition

1. Select New Training Setup.
2. Choose the training category, enter the title, and say whether it is Mandatory.
3. If mandatory, choose which employees it applies to by DOT status, employee category, and employment status.
4. Optionally set Expires in (months), the default validity period.
5. Add any description, then complete the steps to save.

How mandatory training affects compliance

An employee covered by a mandatory definition who has not completed it is shown as Out of Compliance.
