New Applicant
To create a new applicant, select Create New Applicant from the Quick Tasks section on the Welcome screen or from the Employees submenu of the main menu.
First, identify the applicant by their Social Security Number. If the information about the person is found in the Med-Stop system, you will be able to retrieve it, validate it, and save it as your company’s new applicant.
If the Social Security Number does not match any record stored in the Med-Stop system, you will need to provide all applicant information manually.
You can also create an applicant without providing a Social Security Number. In this case, you must always input all the required applicant details.
In the next step, determine the applicant’s DOT status, category, and application date. For drivers, you will need to enter the Commercial Driver's License number, state, and expiration date.
