The Reports

To help you monitor your Med-Stop information and your company’s status, the system offers a wide range of reports accessible via the Reports button from the Main Menu. You can choose from different report categories and customize them to show only the information you need. You can also subtotal and filter your data to get a clear, concise picture of what's happening within your company.

Report Categories

You can select a specific category directly from the Main Menu or from the Category list on the Reports screen, located in the top-left area of the page. Some reports may be classified under more than one category.

Selecting the Report

The report list displays reports by category. Each report is identified by its title and a short description of the data it includes. To select a report, click its title bar. This will highlight the selected report and open its customization options.

Report Customization

You can filter report data to display exactly what you need. Each report includes its own list of filters and parameters. Most reports allow you to set Start and End dates to narrow down results to a specific time period.

Report details level

Most reports can be generated with two levels of detail:

 

Show All Details

Displays full report with all detail rows.

 

Hide Details

Shows only summary totals for record groups.

 

You can choose the detail level either from the customization box or from the details level selector at the top of the Reports window. The selected detail level will determine how the report is generated.

Viewing and exporting the Reports

Reports can be generated in the following formats:

 

PDF

Default format for Med-Stop reports and forms. Requires a PDF viewer to view or print.

 

Excel

Report data can be exported to Excel for further processing. Some reports are specially formatted for Excel. You’ll need compatible software to open and edit these files.

Sending the report by fax or e-mail

If your Med-Stop access level and security settings allow it, reports can be sent directly to a fax number or an email address.

Generating the Report

To generate a report, press the Process button located in the top-left part of the Reports screen. This will open a new browser window with the generated report. To reset the selection and filters to default settings, click the Reset button.
